Tuesday, May 1st, 2007Fortune has come out with it’s new top 500 list of the richest companies in the US. There also have plotted the central headquarters of all the companies on a Google Map.

Nuclear waste next to your house?
Sunday, April 29th, 2007The EPA launched a web application Window To My Environment (WME) that allows you to map “superfund sites, drinking water, toxic and air releases, hazardous waste, and water discharge permits.” It’s quite a nifty application that allows ordinary citizens to gain more transparent access to information about local conditions. The site has a FAQ that’s quite useful.
